About

Bill Mason @ 7:28 pm

I’d been pondering starting a blog for awhile. The problem always is while I like to write, I often have no idea what to write about.

In the interim, I started to use Twitter. It gave me a feeling of blogging in miniature.

So I decided to use my blog to expand on topics that I twittered about. I figure if I was motivated enough to twitter about it, the chances are I have something more to say.

So, time will tell if I was right.

Hi Bill; Thanks for your comments about the change(s) in Twitter. I believe I followed you after seeing a comment you left for Imogen Heap. I’m still looking for more people to follow, and now I am hampered by this change. . .
So, what topics are an option on your blog?
I hope your day is improving.
    cheers,

Yeah, the replies change definitely made checking out new people to maybe follow harder. I hope Twitter puts more effort into recreating replies in a way that won’t break their systems, and less on trying to invent a new tool for us to do what replies was already doing. We shall see.

Right now, I just use the blog anytime I want to say something more at length relating to (usually) something I’ve tweeted. So basically any topic that strikes my fancy. Sometimes this results in a run of posts in a close pack if I get inspired. Other times this place may get quiet for awhile until the inspiration returns.

I’m not willing yet to declare today recovered, but it’s trying to bounce back. Thanks for the thought. :)
