  1. Take equal parts of honey and water. Heat them up a little bit on the stove so you get a thin honey syrup.

  2. In a mug or a thick glass, put in:

    • ½ ounce (or maybe an ounce) of the honey syrup
    • ½ ounce of dark rum
    • ½ ounce of bourbon
    • ½ ounce of fresh lemon juice
    • top it off with 3 ounces of hot water out of the kettle
  3. Stir those around a little bit.
  4. Spritz a lemon slice as a garnish.

Miriam swears by it.
